(Raised on Cajun spice, fueled by LSU pride, and now practicing dentistry with the patience of a saint.)
Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He earned his undergraduate degree at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) and doubled down to attend their dental school in New Orleans earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He finished out his training with a residency in Bessemer, Alabama. Which means truly nothing phases him anymore. Nothing.
He met his now-wife, Dr. Britta Brooks, while they were both in dental school, proving love can bloom even in fluorescent lighting and the smell of eugenol. After she graduated and finished her orthodontic residency, they packed up and moved to her hometown of Nashville, bought their first house, and welcomed their dog, Fitzgerald (“Fitz”).
Big news: The Brooks household will be adding a baby girl in December 2025 and yes, pictures will absolutely be displayed and passed around.

Clinically, Dr. Brooks is the perfect mix of kind, meticulous, gentle, and quietly brilliant. The kind of dentist who explains things without making you feel like you’re being scolded, but also without letting you get away with pretending you floss “every day.” He practices with compassion, skill, and just enough Cajun charm to make you wonder if you should’ve started going to him sooner.
